1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:

  • "Client," "You," "Your" refers to the individual or entity engaging our cleaning services.
  • "Services" means the professional cleaning services provided by Qegodu as agreed upon in the service agreement.
  • "Property" refers to the premises where cleaning services are to be performed.

2. Service Agreement and Booking

All cleaning services must be booked in advance through our website, email at [email protected], or by phone at +44 20 7514 8923. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

The scope of services, pricing, and schedule will be outlined in your service agreement. Any changes to the agreed services must be communicated and approved by both parties in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.


3. Pricing and Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement and may include:

  • Payment in advance for first-time clients or one-time services
  • Payment upon completion for regular clients with established accounts
  • Monthly invoicing for commercial contracts

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and other methods as specified. Late payments may incur additional charges of 5% per month or the maximum amount permitted by law. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Less than 24 hours notice: Full service charge applies

If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative arrangement.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure efficient and effective service delivery, clients must:

  1. Provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning
  2. Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or sentimental items before our arrival
  3. Inform us of any specific requirements, hazards, or areas of concern
  4. Ensure pets are secured in a safe area away from cleaning zones
  5. Provide necessary utilities including water, electricity, and heating
  6. Notify us of any damage or issues within 24 hours of service completion

6. Our Responsibilities and Service Standards

Qegodu is committed to providing high-quality professional cleaning services. We will:

  • Arrive at the scheduled time or notify you of any delays
  • Use professional-grade equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products where possible
  • Employ trained, vetted, and insured cleaning professionals
  • Respect your property and maintain confidentiality
  • Address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally

7. Liability and Insurance

Qegodu maintains comprehensive public liability insurance. While we take every precaution to prevent damage, we accept liability only for damage directly caused by our negligence. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, up to a maximum of £5,000 per incident.

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear
  • Damage to items not properly secured by the client
  • Damage caused by defective equipment or surfaces
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion to [email protected].


8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in accordance with UK data protection laws. Information collected is used solely for service delivery and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with 14 days' written notice. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if payment terms are breached or if there are safety concerns for our staff.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing formal legal action.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
